Driftwood Hollow
★★★★★ 4.5
Driftwood Hollow is a quiet game, and I mean that as the highest praise. You arrive at an abandoned seaside village and slowly coax it back to life — clearing paths, solving small environmental puzzles, and meeting the few characters who drift back in as the place recovers. There's no timer, no pressure, just curiosity.
The art is hand-painted and the water animation is genuinely lovely. Progress comes from paying attention: a chalk mark here, a hidden key there. I kept finding tucked-away corners long after I thought I'd seen everything.
If you want adrenaline, look elsewhere. If you want something to unwind with before sleep, this is close to perfect.
