Legends of Slots

Legends of Slots is one of those games that looks simple on the surface and quietly turns into a habit. You tap to set three reels spinning, match the symbols across a small grid, and clear level objectives that get trickier the deeper you go. There's no complicated setup — you're playing within thirty seconds of opening it.

What surprised me was how much variety the designers squeezed out of such a tight loop. Each chapter has its own theme, from forest ruins to a frozen harbour, and the symbol sets change with it. Later levels throw in locked tiles and timed goals that force you to think about order rather than just chasing matches. The haptics are gentle and well-tuned, so every successful line has a satisfying little buzz.

Performance was smooth on both phones we tested, and the game loads fast even from cold. My only gripe is that the menu music loops a bit too tightly. Otherwise it's a tidy, polished casual game that's easy to pick up between stops.
